Lisa Jacobs to Step Down as Funding Circle CEO

Funding Circle Holdings plc has announced that Lisa Jacobs intends to step down as CEO by no later than September 2027. Jacobs joined Funding Circle in 2012 and became CEO in January 2022. Now, the Board will begin a formal search for her successor. Until her departure, Jacobs will remain in her role. She will keep delivering the company’s growth. She will plan and work with the Board to ensure a smooth and orderly transition.

Years at Funding Circle

Jacobs has been part of Funding Circle for 14 years. During her time with the company, the business expanded enormously. Funding Circle has extended more than £18 billion in credit to more than 135,000 SMEs since her joining. The company also delivered the transformation plan announced in March ‘24. It sought to create a simpler, high-growth and more profitable business.
