Mohamed Elgayyar Joins HFM as Head of GCC and Egypt
Retail FX and CFD broker HFM has appointed Cairo-based executive Mohamed Elgayyar as its new Head of GCC and Egypt. Elgayyar joins HFM from CFD broker GODO. He will focus on the GCC and Egypt in his new role as HFM is building its presence in the MENA region.
HFM Expands
Elgayyar’s appointment comes as HFM keeps adding senior executives to its MENA operations. The broker recently appointed Jean Nahas as Senior Executive Officer of its UAE operation in Dubai. Nahas previously worked at Zarvista and BUX. HFM also appointed Mohammed El Alaoui Essosse, the former CEO of Zarvista, to lead Business Development in North Africa.
Who is Mohamed Elgayyar?
Elgayyar has comprehensive experience in sales, business development, and regional management across the FX and CFD industry. Before joining HFM, he worked as Regional Sales Manager at GODO. Before that, he served as Country Manager for Egypt at FxPro and as Head of Sales and Partnerships at OW Markets.
He also served as Sales Manager at Orbex. There, he led sales operations across Egypt, North Africa, parts of the GCC, Iraq, Turkey, and other Middle Eastern markets. Earlier in his career, he worked as Regional Manager for MENA at InvestAZ Yatırım and InvestAZ Securities, focusing on sales, customer support, business development, and regional expansion. He began his career as a Market Research Analyst at FxCentury and later worked as a Technical Analyst and Trainer at Arab Financial Brokers.
