Match-Trader Charts Now Feature 84 Built-In Indicators, Including 63 New Additions

Match-Trade Technologies has expanded the Match-Trader indicator library with 63 new indicators. The update brings the total number of built-in indicators to 84 and gives traders more tools for advanced technical analysis directly within the platform. The new library includes 49 technical indicators for core chart analysis and 14 volume-based indicators.

Broader Indicator Library

The expanded library supports analysis of trends, momentum, volatility, market regimes, and price structure. Traders can combine different indicators to confirm signals, validate setups, and build repeatable trading methods within Match-Trader. The update also benefits brokers. A vaster selection of native indicators strengthens Match-Trader's charting capabilities. Also, helps address a common reason experienced traders keep external charting platforms open.

Volume-Based Indicators

Now, Match-Trader also includes 14 volume-based indicators. Forex and CFD markets generally do not have centralized exchange volume. So, these indicators use tick volume as a practical measure of market activity. Traders can use this information to assess whether breakouts, reversals, and continuing trends have stronger market participation behind them. All the new indicators work within the existing charting workflow. Traders can add them to any chart, adjust their settings, and save preferred combinations through Indicator Templates.

Key Indicators in the New Library

Volume Weighted Average Price

Volume Weighted Average Price, or VWAP, combines price and activity to show a market's intraday value. Traders can use VWAP to assess intraday direction, measure the strength of price movements, and identify changes in participation. The indicator is useful in day trading, particularly in equities and crypto markets, and is also associated with institutional trading funds and algorithms.

Money Flow Index

Money Flow Index, or MFI, combines price action with volume data to measure buying and selling pressure. The indicator appears as a line between 0 and 100. A rising MFI generally points to increasing buying pressure. A falling MFI indicates growing selling pressure. Traders can use MFI to identify overbought and oversold conditions, spot divergences, and track failure swings. Because MFI works as a volume-based momentum oscillator, traders familiar with RSI can also adopt it easily.

Pivot Points

Pivot Points Standard automatically identifies potential support and resistance levels around a main pivot level. Instead of manually drawing these levels during each session, traders get a ready-made map of potential reaction areas. Traders can add and configure Pivot Points on any Match-Trader chart for faster intraday analysis.

On Balance Volume

On Balance Volume, or OBV, tracks buying and selling pressure by connecting price movement with market activity. The indicator adds volume when the price closes higher and subtracts it when the price closes lower. Then, traders may follow the OBV line to see whether participation is increasing or fading behind a price move. OBV can help confirm trends and identify divergences.

What Executive Says

Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of Match-Trader Platform, stressed the importance of having a richer indicator library built directly into the platform. His point is that traders benefit when commonly expected charting tools are available without requiring them to move between platforms. By expanding the native indicator selection, Match-Trader aims to make everyday trading workflows easier to manage and help brokers keep more of those activities within the platform.
