FTMO Adds TradingView as a New Platform Option

FTMO has added TradingView as a platform option for the FTMO Challenge, Verification, and FTMO Account. FTMO said it regularly reviews its infrastructure to provide traders with reliable tools that match diverse trading strategies. The company explained that feedback from its trading community ushered to adding TradingView. The integration lets traders execute trades through the TradingView interface.

Manage Risk on Charts

TradingView lets traders manage orders from the chart. Traders can drag their Take Profit and Stop Loss levels to specific price points. They can also use the Long/Short Position tool before entering a trade. It helps them measure the reward-to-risk ratio. Traders can place limit or stop orders by right-clicking on their preferred price level.

Manage Multiple Charts

TradingView supports layouts with up to eight charts in one window. Traders can synchronise symbols, intervals and crosshairs across charts. The Bar Replay tool also lets traders practise strategies using historical price data. It hides future price movements so traders can work through the market bar by bar. TradingView saves templates, layouts and drawings to the cloud. Traders can therefore access their work in the desktop application, web browser, and mobile app.

Pine Script lets traders create custom indicators. Traders can also use community-created scripts to identify specific candlestick patterns or other market conditions.

Market Screening

TradingView also includes tools to help traders organise the markets they follow. Traders can create custom watchlists, use different colours to flag instruments and organise their favourite pairs. The platform also includes an economic calendar. Traders may view upcoming macroeconomic events directly on the chart and keep track of high-impact news releases.

FTMO traders can select TradingView from the platform dropdown when configuring their next FTMO Challenge. After processing the account, FTMO will provide the credentials needed to connect the Challenge to TradingView. Traders who already use another platform can request a switch to TradingView for their next phase or billing cycle.
