Eurex Derivatives Now Available on NinjaTrader for European Traders

Eurex has made a selection of its benchmark European derivatives available on the NinjaTrader platform for traders across Europe. NinjaTrader is known for its retail futures trading technology. It is a Payward company.

Expanding Access to European Benchmark Products

European clients using NinjaTrader can access some of Eurex's most actively traded derivatives with this launch. These include EURO STOXX 50 futures, DAX equity index futures, and Euro-BUND fixed income futures. Now, NinjaTrader is available to customers across 30 countries in the EU and EEA.

Building on an Existing Partnership

The launch forms part of the wider collaboration between Deutsche Börse Group and Kraken. The partnership focuses on bringing traditional and digital asset markets closer together through connected infrastructure and trading access. Previous milestones have already included the integration of 360T's foreign exchange liquidity into Kraken and the launch of xStocks on 360X.

Executive Insights

According to Robert Booij, CEO of Eurex, the partnership supports the company's broader digital strategy. He indicated that Eurex wants to do more than expand access for its existing clients. The goal is also to introduce its benchmark products to a newer generation of investors while helping shape the future direction of financial markets.

John Palmer, Global Head of Derivatives at Kraken, highlighted changing trader behaviour. He explained that many market participants now operate across both digital and traditional asset classes. As a result, they increasingly need a unified environment that lets them manage positions under the same account and risk framework.

Chris Tripp, General Manager of NinjaTrader International, said the launch reflects NinjaTrader's commitment to the European market following its expansion into the region earlier this year. He explained that the addition of Eurex products, together with the wider Deutsche Börse partnership, aims to create a single ecosystem where traders can move between digital and traditional markets.

The Roadmap Ahead

The current launch represents only the first phase of a broader roadmap. Future plans include making Eurex products available through Kraken Pro. The rollout will begin in Europe before expanding to the United States.

The partnership also plans to expand the range of available contracts by adding products such as MSCI index futures. Beyond Europe, future phases will extend distribution to Kraken's global client base.
