DTCC Appoints Samir Pandiri as Chief Client Officer
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has appointed Samir Pandiri as Managing Director and Chief Client Officer. Pandiri will join the DTCC Executive Committee and report to Frank LaSalla, President and Chief Executive Officer.
About the Appointment
In his new role, Pandiri will oversee DTCC’s Global Client Management team, including Client Leads, Relationship Management & Growth, Partnerships, and Alliances. He will also oversee DTCC Consulting Services and Marketing & Communications. He will be responsible for building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders and improving how DTCC delivers value, supports clients, and guides innovation in client coverage.
Who is Samir Pandiri?
Pandiri brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. His background includes asset servicing, fund administration, capital markets, fintech, corporate services, wealth management, and trustee services. He has managed large organisations, led post-trade infrastructure initiatives, and worked with senior industry leaders. His career has also included leadership roles in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, with more than 15 years spent in Hong Kong and London.
Before joining DTCC, Pandiri held several senior leadership positions. He most recently served as Regional Head - Americas and BIL at TMF Group. He also served as Group President at Apex Group and President of Broadridge International at Broadridge Financial Solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group and held several leadership roles at BNY Mellon, including CEO of the Global Asset Servicing Division and CEO & EVP of Shareowner Services. Also, he worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Bankers Trust in roles spanning business, sales, and corporate trust.

Frank LaSalla said Pandiri’s combination of executive management and client engagement experience will help DTCC toughen its relationships in the industry and work with clients as a strategic partner. LaSalla also stressed Pandiri’s global finance and post-trade infrastructure knowledge.
