BitDelta Obtains UAE CMA Licence and Launches Dubai Office

CFD broker BitDelta Securities Financial Services LLC has secured full regulatory approval from the United Arab Emirates’ Capital Market Authority (CMA) under a Category 5 (Arrangement and Advice) licence.

This final approval follows an earlier in-principle agreement and confirms that BitDelta has met all necessary capital, governance, and operational standards.

Key Details of the UAE Operations

  1. Office Location: BitDelta has opened an operational hub in the Tamani Arts Offices Building in Business Bay, Dubai, to serve the UAE and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
  2. Core Functions: Led by Group CEO Demetrios Zamboglou, the Dubai office will handle client onboarding, regulatory compliance, legal affairs, and partner relations.
  3. Scope of the Licence: Operating strictly as an introducing broker, BitDelta will connect eligible retail and professional investors with licensed international brokers. These partners offer trading in FX, commodities, equities, bonds, ETFs, futures, options, and spot markets.
  4. Operational Limits: Under this specific licence, BitDelta will not hold client funds, execute trades, or provide investment advice. Clients retain full control over their trading decisions, while the external brokers handle execution and asset custody.

International Expansion and Tech Partnerships

  1. India Expansion: Prior to this UAE milestone, BitDelta launched an FIU-registered virtual digital asset trading platform in India this past April, operating as an official Virtual Digital Asset Service Provider.
  2. Technology Collaboration: In a separate development, BitDelta Pro has signed a multi-year deal with fintech provider Iress. BitDelta Pro will integrate Iress’ market data tools, trading platforms, and API/FIX connectivity to support its expansion into equities and contracts for difference (CFDs).
