DB Investing Opens MT5 AI Assistant 2.0 to More MetaTrader 5 Traders
DB Investing has launched MT5 AI Assistant Version 2.0. The latest version is no longer limited to DB Investing clients. Eligible traders using MetaTrader 5 with DB Investing or another compatible broker can use the software.
An Open AI Platform
Version 1.0 connected MetaTrader 5 with leading AI platforms for DB Investing users. Now, Version 2.0 expands that access. It works as an independent AI layer for the wider MetaTrader 5 community. Traders can install the software on MetaTrader 5 for Windows, connect their preferred AI service using an API key, and interact with their trading accounts via AI.
Choose AI Provider
The software supports multiple AI services, including ChatGPT-compatible APIs, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity, and other compatible AI endpoints. DB Investing lets traders choose their preferred provider. Traders simply connect their own API key, while the terms, availability, and pricing depend on the selected AI provider.
Live Account Data
After connecting, the assistant can combine the trader's prompt with authorised account information. This includes balance, equity, margin, open positions, and current market prices. The AI can then provide market analysis, account insights, risk observations, trade ideas, and structured order instructions.
Traders Stay in Control
DB Investing says the software supports traders. Every AI-generated trading instruction must be reviewed and approved before execution. The company also notes that AI responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for a trader's goals.
Users can also set a maximum trade size for AI-prepared orders. API key storage is inside the local MetaTrader 5 environment. Communication with AI providers takes place through HTTPS connections.
Setup for New Users
Version 2.0 simplifies the registration process. Now, the software includes email and mobile verification using one-time PIN codes. Traders install the software, connect it to MetaTrader 5, choose a supported AI provider, add their API key, and begin using AI with authorised account data.

Version 2.0 is intended for eligible MetaTrader 5 traders across the forex and CFD market. It is subject to technical compatibility, local availability, and broker server configuration.
