Plus500 reported impressive results for the first half of 2026. Revenue increased 12% year over year to $462.9 million. It is the company's highest first-half revenue in three years. Customer Income also reached a five-year high at $460.8 million. It grew 24% compared to the same period last year. The company said higher market volatility and concrete performance on all business lines helped drive the growth.

Profitability Stays Strong

EBITDA rose 1% year over year to $187.5 million. The EBITDA margin stood at 41%. Plus500 said its flexible cost structure allowed it to increase investments and maintain strong profitability.

The company increased spending on customer acquisition during the first half of the year. As a result, new customers grew 17% to 65,723. Active customers also increased 10% year over year to 197,294. Plus500 added that its underlying performance was stronger on a constant currency basis. Although foreign exchange costs affected reported results during the period.

Non-OTC Business Expands

The company's non-OTC business generated around 15% of total revenue during H1 2026. It’s up from about 13% a year earlier. The segment contributed around $70 million in revenue. It showed roughly 30% year-over-year growth. Plus500 said its US businesses continued to get momentum.

Strong Balance Sheet

Plus500 ended June 2026 with more than $850 million in cash and no debt. The company said it enters the second half of the year with strong operational momentum. Also, it has a broader strategy across its OTC and non-OTC businesses both. It also sees its expanding US operations, including prediction markets, as an important long-term growth opportunity.
