Naga Secures $8 Million Convertible Bond from Presto and MDream
Germany-based Naga Group has secured an $8 million convertible bond from institutional investors Presto and MDream. The funding will support product development in its trading and digital-asset businesses. The Hamburg-based fintech operates Naga One, a SuperApp that merges trading, stock and ETF investing, cryptocurrency, social trading and neo-banking. The platform has more than 2.5 million registered users.
Convertible Bond Terms
The convertible bond has a 36-month term and carries an annual coupon of 8.0%. Investors can convert the bond into new Naga shares at $4.2615 per share. The price implies a pre-money valuation of approximately $99.2 million. The conversion price shows a 57% premium over Naga's XETRA closing price on October 8, 2026. If investors convert the entire bond, Naga's share capital will increase by approximately 8.1%.
Support Naga's Growth
Both investors will contribute industry expertise with their capital. Presto, a quantitative trading firm founded in 2014, will help Naga develop new trading products. Also, it will help improve pricing, execution, and risk management. Its involvement will support the company's efforts to toughen its trading capabilities.
MDream brings experience across payments, trading platforms and digital wallets. It will support Naga's ambition to connect centralised and decentralised finance.
What Executive Says
Chief Executive Officer Octavian Patrascu said the company had made its business leaner, more efficient and profitable. He showed that Naga's next priority is to build on these improvements and pace up growth. His comments imply that Naga sees the funding as a way to shift from improving its operational efficiency towards expanding its business. Also, Presto and MDream’s involvement could help the company develop its products by drawing on their respective expertise in quantitative trading and financial services.
