Match-Trader Brings AI Assistants Directly to Broker Data via MCP
Match-Trade Technologies has launched Match-Trader Broker Management MCP. It’s an integration that connects brokers and prop firms to their Match-Trader operational data through AI aides. The integration lets teams use Claude, ChatGPT, and compatible AI consumers to query Match-Trader Manager and Admin data in layman language. They can receive structured answers from their live environment without manually extracting and rebuilding data.
Queries
Brokers generate large data in trading activity, client accounts, risk exposure, and settlements. Accessing useful information can involve several steps. Teams may need to go through multiple screens, export CSV files, combine spreadsheets, or request custom queries from technical teams. It can slow everything down from routine client checks to time-sensitive risk reviews.
Match-Trader Broker Management MCP reduces this process to one query. For example, a dealing desk can ask for net exposure on XAUUSD by group and the top 10 accounts by floating P&L with a margin level below 150%. AI assistant rescues the information from the Match-Trader environment and yields it in a consolidated, structured format.
How it Works
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that connects AI to external systems through defined functions. Match-Trader Broker Management MCP works as an MCP server for the Match-Trader platform. It provides a secure, permissioned gateway between AI clients and data in Match-Trader Manager and Admin.
The current release includes more than 20 actions covering accounts, positions and orders, ledgers, group and instrument configuration, market data, trading sessions and risk rules. Each action performs specific operations. It lets AI assistants work within the broker's current access controls.
Uses for Broker Teams
Dealing Desk and Risk Management
Dealing and risk teams can use the integration to check current exposure by instrument, identify accounts with low margin levels, and review routing and hedging rules. They can also check which abuse rules are configured and which groups those rules cover.
Back Office and Client Support
Back-office and support teams can quickly access account information such as balance, equity, margin, credit, and P&L. They can also review deposits, withdrawals, and credit operations over the previous 30 days or list open positions and pending orders for a client.
Prop Firm Operations
Prop firms can compare leverage, commission, and symbol settings between different groups, such as Phase 1 and Funded groups. Teams can also find evaluation accounts that match specific conditions.
Configuration and Compliance
Teams can compare instrument settings in groups and check whether symbols are disabled or outside trading hours. They can also review scheduled holidays and identify special accounts with their permissions.
Faster Access
Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of the Match-Trader platform at Match-Trade Technologies, said the integration considers the gap between the amount of data brokers collect and how quickly teams can act on it. His point is that in the broker operation may now ask questions about their Match-Trader environment through AI tools they use. It reduces the time needed to find information and keep decisions with the broker.
