HANSAINVEST Joins SIX Swiss Exchange as an ETF Issuer
SIX Swiss Exchange has welcomed HANSAINVEST as a new Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) issuer with the listing of the BIT Global Technology Leaders UCITS ETF. The actively managed ETF follows the EU UCITS directive and gives investors access to a global, benchmark-agnostic portfolio concentrated on leading technology and AI infrastructure companies. It captures opportunities from the growing artificial intelligence adoption and structural technological change. HANSAINVEST becomes the 39th ETF issuer at SIX Swiss Exchange.
AI-Focused Strategy
The newly listed ETF invests in stocks from developed and emerging markets worldwide. Its investment strategy comes from BIT Capital. It concentrates on leading technology companies and AI infrastructure stocks. The strategy also applies ESG criteria covering environmental, social, and corporate governance factors.
The BIT Global Technology Leaders strategy has been in place since 2019. The new ETF makes this strategy available in an active ETF format for the first time. Investors therefore get access to the same concentrated global portfolio and investment process used by the current strategy with the same fund management.
ETF Market at SIX
The Swiss ETF segment keeps showing substantial year-to-date and year-on-year growth in turnover and trades during 2026. It followed the record momentum recorded in 2025, although the market experienced a seasonal month-on-month decline during the summer. In August 2026, on-book market turnover, including QOD, reached CHF 6.36 billion for passively managed ETFs and CHF 108.01 million for actively managed ETFs. Compared with July 2026, turnover declined by 13.25% for passive ETFs and 40.75% for active ETFs. Despite the summer decline, SIX described the ETF segment as persisting its strong growth trajectory.
