Who Is Adam Phillips?
Adam Phillips joins FXTRADING.com with more than 25 years of experience. He has experience in institutional trading operations, prime brokerage relationships and multi-asset investment management. He has established and managed more than 74 million dollars in institutional mandates in FX and futures under AFSL and CTA designations. He also executed more than 2 billion dollars in monthly trading volume through tier-1 prime brokers such as UBS, Deutsche Bank, Toronto Dominion Bank, and Société Générale. It gave him deep exposure to global market infrastructure and institutional execution standards.
Career Background
Most recently, Adam served as a Managing Director of Yellowfin Asset Management Pty Ltd. There, he delivered sophisticated portfolio and trading solutions for wholesale and institutional clients across foreign exchange, derivatives, and securities markets. Before that, he was a Managing Director of Blue Fin Capital Pty Ltd. There, he secured and managed major institutional mandates, including a 42 million dollar mandate from FourWinds Capital Management. His responsibilities extended across prime brokerage setup, portfolio construction, risk management, regulatory compliance, and complex trading strategies execution.
Regulatory and Educational Strengths
Adam holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He has served as a Registered Representative of the Sydney Futures Exchange. Also, he has been a Principal and Associate Member of the National Futures Association. Additionally, he holds a FINRA Series 3 certification.
