
Ultima Markets Acquires Tiger Brokers UK
Ultima Markets has acquired Tiger Brokers (UK) Ltd and its UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) license. Ultima Markets is an offshore Retail FX and CFDs broker based in Mauritius. The FCA approved the deal in July 2025. It is Ultima Markets’ entry into the UK’s regulated financial market.
Acquisition Details
Ultima Markets purchased Tiger Brokers (UK) Ltd, previously part of UP Fintech Holding Limited. The deal was agreed in November 2024 and finalized after FCA approval in July 2025. Ultima Markets injected £658K into the business to cover operating expenses during the transition period.
About the Acquired Business
Now, the business operates as Ultima Markets UK Limited. It generated zero revenue from 2021 to 2024. It had accumulated £4.6 million in losses by the end of 2024. That reduced most of its capital base. The company reported no deposited client funds at the time of acquisition.
Future Plans
Ultima Markets will begin onboarding UK clients in 2026. It plans to launch a localized UK offering to compete in the domestic market.
