StoneX Expands FX Capabilities in Asia-Pacific with Singapore Booking Center
StoneX Group Inc. has launched its Singapore FX booking center and SG1 connectivity. The move expands the company’s foreign exchange capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region. StoneX FX, the institutional FX division of StoneX, provides OTC trading solutions for institutional and corporate hedging. Its FX market access model supports spot, forwards, NDFs, swaps and options.
Local Pricing
The new booking center lets StoneX FX provide pricing and execution locally from Singapore. It will help the company improve response times, strengthen regional expertise, and align client support with APAC market hours. The Singapore center builds on StoneX’s global FX infrastructure. That includes its NY4 and LD4 hubs. Also, it shows the company’s investment in mixing global market access with localized service.
By moving pricing, support, and decision-making closer to clients in Asia, StoneX will improve execution quality. The center will support different trading and hedging requirements, including high-frequency institutional flows and corporate treasury operations.
Deliverable FX
The Singapore booking center also strengthens StoneX FX’s deliverable FX offering in Asia. Local booking helps clients manage settlement timelines, regional currency workflows, and intraday liquidity requirements. Also, downsizes reliance on overnight handovers. It lets StoneX make faster execution modifications and sustain sounder cash-flow and risk management.
APAC Currency Coverage
Alongside the SG1 launch, StoneX FX has expanded its APAC currency coverage. The company has added seven new CNH pairs and sweetened liquidity in essential regional currencies, including JPY, SGD, HKD, KRW, TWD, INR, IDR, PHP, THB and AED. The broader currency coverage supports clients with trading, hedging, and exposure management in Asian markets.
What Executives Say
Gerard Melia, Global Head of FX Sales at StoneX, said the Singapore booking center toughens the company’s FX offering in Asia-Pacific. He stressed the importance of matching pricing and execution with regional market hours. According to Melia, this lets StoneX provide faster and more relevant support as FX markets become more dynamic.
Greg Kallinikos, CEO of APAC at StoneX, also stressed Singapore’s role as a global FX hub. He explained that SG1 connectivity brings StoneX’s liquidity, technology and expertise closer to regional clients. He also linked the move to execution, trading, hedging and settlement improvements.
