TradeStation Securities Rolls Out MCP Connection
TradeStation Securities has announced the launch of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection. It is a new way for traders to interact with their accounts by connecting AI assistants directly to the TradeStation ecosystem.
What is the MCP Connection?
The Model Context Protocol connection is built by TradeStation’s affiliate, TradeStation Technologies. It lets AI assistants connect with TradeStation accounts and interact with trading tools and market data.
This connection supports conversational interactions. Thus, gives traders an alternative way to access and use their trading environment.
Initial AI Support
The first version of the MCP connection is configured to work with Claude, an AI assistant developed by Anthropic. TradeStation has confirmed that enhancements are planned to support additional AI platforms in the future. It will offer users more choice.
How Traders Can Use it
By connecting AI assistants to their TradeStation accounts, users may be able to:
- Interact with trading tools through conversation
- Review and analyze account positions
- Automate certain trading-related actions

Availability and Access Requirements
TradeStation’s MCP connection is now available to customers. However, it is subject to applicable account minimums and approvals. Accessing Claude through the TradeStation MCP requires an active Claude Pro subscription. Users must obtain this subscription directly from Anthropic.
