Sergei Solomatin Joins EXNATE as the Director of IT Operations
EXANTE has appointed Sergei Solomatin as its new Director of IT Operations. The hire strengthens the broker’s focus on technology and operational resilience.
About the Appointment
Solomatin will report directly to EXANTE’s Chief Technology Officer, Richard Forss. His role will advance the company’s technology operations and resilience agenda. This is EXANTE’s second senior hire in recent months. It came following the addition of Robert Parker as Head of Risk.
Who is Sergei Solomatin?
Sergei Solomatin has over two decades of experience in IT operations and infrastructure. He most recently led infrastructure and operations at Social Discovery Group. There, he focused on cloud optimization, datacenter migration, and automation. Before that, he headed IT operations at FINAM. There, he used to manage large technical teams and improve system reliability.
Earlier, he spent several years at Home Credit and Finance Bank. He led modernization through CI/CD processes and cost-saving technology solutions there. He also held senior IT roles at Svyaznoy Bank, and began his career at OOO MIR as an IT specialist.

At EXANTE, Solomatin will lead the firm’s technology operations strategy. His remit includes managing hybrid infrastructure, monitoring, security, and compliance. He will drive cloud transformation and automation while overseeing Monitoring, Production Support, DevOps, Service Desk, Infrastructure, and IT Operations projects.
