Euroclear Acquires 90% Stake in Inversis
Euroclear has completed the acquisition of a 90% stake in Inversis from Banca March. The transaction moves Euroclear closer to full ownership of the company. Euroclear had already acquired a 49% stake in Inversis in March 2025. The latest transaction marks another step in the company’s funds business growth.
Strengthen Funds Business
The acquisition strengthens Euroclear FundsPlace®. Also, it expands Euroclear’s presence in Southern Europe. The deal combines Inversis’ local expertise in funds and investment services with Euroclear’s infrastructure, scale, and international ecosystem. Euroclear sees Inversis as a complementary addition to its funds ecosystem. The company has also made other acquisitions and investments as it expands its end-to-end funds offering in fundamental European markets.
Today, Euroclear FundsPlace operates €4.6 trillion. It connects more than 3,000 distributors and 2,500 asset managers globally. The platform provides around 250,000 funds through standardised infrastructure.
Inversis: Distinct Entity
Inversis will keep operating as a separate entity within the Euroclear Group. The company will maintain its investment services portfolio, market presence, relationships, and regional expertise. So, Inversis will keep serving clients with its capabilities and become part of the wider Euroclear Group.

Valérie Urbain, CEO of Euroclear, described the transaction as an important milestone for the company’s funds strategy. She stressed Inversis’ strong local presence, trusted client relationships, and complementary capabilities. According to Urbain, merging these strengths with Euroclear’s resources will create a connected European investment ecosystem. She also said the combination would bring new opportunities for clients, distributors and asset managers in Europe. Urbain welcomed Inversis employees to the Euroclear Group and said the company looks forward to working with them in this next phase.
What Inversis’ CEO Said
Alberto del Cid, CEO of Inversis, said the deal starts a new chapter for the company. He stressed that Inversis will be the same trusted partner for its clients. The company will keep its existing teams, expertise, and service commitment. At the same time, del Cid said clients will gradually gain access to vaster connectivity, additional distribution opportunities, and the scale of Euroclear’s international funds ecosystem.
