DXtrade Receives Approval from Indonesian Regulator Bappebti
DXtrade has received regulatory approval from Indonesia’s Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency, known as Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti). DXtrade is the white-label multi-asset trading platform from Devexperts. The approval makes DXtrade one of only two trading platforms authorised by Bappebti. It lets commodity futures and derivatives brokers in Indonesia license and use the platform.
What Is Bappebti?
Bappebti is a government regulator under Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade. It supervises and regulates the country’s commodity futures and derivatives markets. Its responsibilities include licensing and supervising market participants and exchanges, and maintaining lists of licensed or authorised market participants.
Regulatory Review
DXtrade received the approval in August 2026 after a thorough review process. The approval lets DXtrade provide its trading platform to commodity futures and derivatives brokers operating in Indonesia. For Devexperts, this creates an opportunity to expand its presence in the Indonesian market.
What Executive Says
Charmaine Athaide, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Devexperts, said the approval is significant because it lets DXtrade bring its platform to commodity futures and derivatives brokers across Indonesia. Further Regulatory Approval
The Bappebti approval could also support DXtrade’s efforts to obtain approval from other Indonesian regulatory bodies. One of these is Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority. OJK regulates and supervises the country’s financial services sector, including banking, capital markets, digital financial assets and crypto assets. Devexperts plans to seek OJK approval in the coming months. It would let the company serve Indonesia’s digital asset market and expand its presence.
