Chris Demetriou has rejoined Capital.com as the Head of Sales for the MENA region. He previously held the role of Head of UK Sales at the company from 2021 to 2023. His return comes as Capital.com strengthens its foothold in the MENA market.

During his previous tenure at Capital.com, Demetriou led UK sales operations. He oversaw market expansion and client acquisition strategies. His leadership contributed to the company’s growth in the competitive UK trading space. Now, as Head of Sales MENA, he takes on a larger role in Dubai, driving business development in one of Capital.com’s fastest-growing markets.
Who is Chris Demetriou
After leaving Capital.com in 2023, Demetriou joined CMC Markets as a Premium Client Manager. There, he focused on high-value client relationships. In mid-2024, he moved to Onyx Capital Group as Head of Client Management for its retail brokerage arm, handling client strategies and business development. Earlier in his career, he worked at XTB UK as an Account Manager and spent over eight years as a Global Equities Trader. He also contributed to FXStreet as a freelance market analyst.
