
SIX Crosses CHF 1 Trillion in International Custody Assets
SIX has surpassed CHF 1,008 billion in assets under custody. It is a 6% growth so far in 2025. It was driven largely by strong market performance and increased global client activity.
Growth in Total Assets
Now, SIX holds a total of CHF 7.2 trillion in assets under custody across domestic and international segments. The international portion crossed the CHF 1 trillion mark for the first time. Rising demand for its custody solutions supported it.

Drivers Behind the Increase
Equity custody has been the strongest contributor. Equity assets increased by CHF 44 billion year to date. Showed 6% growth.
Within this category:
- Foreign Registered Shares grew 10%
- International ETFs increased 5%
Other asset classes also saw notable expansion. Bonds under custody rose 12%, while warrants and structured products increased 31%.

The rise in assets came from higher activity across SIX’s global footprint.

- In the UK, growth was led by ETF market activity
