Interactive Brokers Boosts Advisors with Model Portfolios in PortfolioAnalyst

Interactive Brokers has rolled out significant enhancements to its PortfolioAnalyst platform with Model Portfolios. It empowers advisors to streamline client investing. These updates introduce model portfolios and more.

New Model Portfolio Capabilities

Now, advisors can create Model Portfolios directly in PortfolioAnalyst to standardize and simplify investing strategies for clients. They get the ability to quickly run reports right from the Dashboard or Reports tab. They don’t need to interact with complex setups.

Revamped Sample Reports Page

The sample reports section received a major refresh for improved usability. Now, reports are organized by content type—such as performance, activity, and allocation—with more granular options and newly added sections. It allows for straightforward navigation.

Tax Planner Tool for Advisors

The new Tax Planner helps advisors estimate taxes on client account activities. Users select desired investment accounts, incorporate external taxable income sources, customize various tax rates, and view the total estimated tax alongside combined income sources.
